Several of his paintings and relief had decorated office and residence of Aceh and East Borneo Governor, Kantor Kehutanan at Banda Aceh and Samarinda, Banking-Hall BRI Surakarta, Museum Istana Presiden RI, Jakarta, Dep. P & K RI Jakarta, Galeri TIM Jakarta, Podium Bank EXIM Exim Plaza Jakarta, Office of Sri sultan Hamengku Buwono IX, Kepatihan Yogyakarta.Beside that, he once taught at Interior Design, and was active in design and organization. He was chosen as the best painter along with AD Pirous, Zaini, Oesman Effendi, Achmad Sadali and Srihadi Sudarsono in Biennale Seni Lukis Indonesia II dan III in Jakarta.
His formal education were Fakultas Hukum & Pengetahuan Masyarakat UI, Jakarta and then Seni Rupa ASRI Yogyakarta and Seni Rupa ITB, Bandung.
Since 1956 he had participated in many art exhibitions in Yogyakarta, Bandung, Jakarta and some other cities in Indonesia. His overseas exhibitions were Singapore Ekshibisi Terapung Keliling Asia Tenggara, Young Artists (New York); Peringatan 25th PBB in New York; Lukisan Pelukis Asia at Fukuoka, Jepang; and in some cities in US (KIAS-USA).
